1:56 pm	tonight im going to elizabethtown with friends to visit my friend vanessa. THEN from there:tomorrow: HORSEBACK RIDING with my brother! staying there, the next day I'm going to the city for a few days, new years eve will be awesome, what is everyone in NYC doing during the day/afternoon/evening friday? would you like to watch home movies or twin peaks? let me know because then i will come in earlier so hang out or else if I have nowhere to go I'll come in later because tal won't be back from canadia until 10-11pm. 6:22 pm	It's weird how you don't realize things are weird until someone tells you they are?? example: all of my friends and i grew up around cars and like in garages and etc. my mom has three cars. between my stepfamily and I, we have 8 cars. my dad has a truck for work (he is a sheet metal worker) and a '68 camaro, a pop-up, toeable camper that sleeps 4 and two other cars that are used for me and my brother and himself. it becomes just like...PILES OF METAL WITH NO VALUE. and this doesn't mean we have money. but the point is that I am taking one of these cars with me to school next semester. THIS MEANS SO MUCH SUITE A323+EXTENDED FAMILY. THIS MEANS BOOZE ANYTIME. THIS MEANS WEEKENDS SLEEPING IN THE CAR IN PARKING LOTS IN NEW HAMPSHIRE. 11:20 pm	+80's art/carnival strippers/Scream Queen with ssn +scrabble and hot cider with dan black. I had P-N-G-U-I-N then P-A-N-D then..finally...Z-E-B-R-A!!! +fun in water! um, i have a bf? thinking about the long distance future: What about a series of brief lives in various cities throughout the world flying airplanes, running folk festivals, being a librarian, making cotton candy on the street, teaching the violin, iridologist in Belgium (one of the few places it's taken seriously), waitressing? I want to get certified in a lot of things versus MONOMANIA, which works out better? I wish I knew some successful people to ask. If you are successful feel free to give me advice. short distance future: i think tal and i are volunteering for a Hungarian folk festival on the 14th SO that's a start. I definitely want to but I'm going to be working at TGI FRIDAY'S for a bit so there is an inconvenience aspect (I have no money). OF ALL THINGS WHY CAN I NOT BE ADDICTED TO DOING GOOD IN SCHOOL? 5:36 pm	I'm still in the city with Tal. IT'S BEEN REALLY REALLY GREAT. I went on a guided tour of the lower east side with his mother Saturday night and then drove around midtown until midnight. We saw Lincoln Center, the United Nations building, the Trump Towers, the Statue of Liberty, the Metropolitan Museum, Stuyvesant Park, Washington Square Park, and much more. I told Tal to ask me anything about Manhattan and Fran because I now know everything. Yesterday we went Israeli folk dancing. I realized all my dance moves could fit into any of the dances we did, isn't that something? Today is also Uri Geller's birthday. We made a list of how he would be the best friend to have because of his versatility and plaintive nature: You could go to church with him, go to a rodeo, go to a buffet, get drunk*, clean your living room, pick out a a new sink, re-upholster your car, go to a wedding, play in the snow, surf, date, mountain climb, play records, nap, read comic books, talk over instant messenger, go house shopping, go jogging, volunteer for a children's festival, write poetry, study together, go to a petting zoo, garden, sing Christmas carols and the list goes on! Not many people can you do ALL of these things with. *in My Story he says that he got high off of a cigarette but didn't get too drunk when he drank. :((( (Comment on this)

7:07 am	usually i don't enjoy communities in general that much, especially musicy ones, but the xiu xiu community (haha i put 'xommunity') is VERY GOOD. i really enjoy it. if you are a fan i highly recommend it. james also sent me a song by ten in the swear jar called 'ring around jh'. totally thinking about me, i can tell. 4:38 am	Maybe my mother is right, maybe i am just cold? NO NO NO LET ME REPHRASE THAT I CAN'T WAIT FOR VACATION I will not say anything more until my heart has slowed down to a reasonable rate. I never hang up the phone soon enough. This is a very funny story: I met my step-sister, Kristina, who was incidentally my best friend from 2nd-11th grade, at the Shillington Pool in Pennsylvania. She was and still is a very hyper, talkative and extroverted person. She basically took me hostage as her best friend; she was four years older than me. Our interests included the movie 'Parent Trap'. Both my dad and her mother were divorced and single parents of two children living just a few blocks from each other. She got the idea to recreate the plot of the film with our own parents in hopes of them marrying so we could never be apart. We cooked them dinner and sang "She Drives Me Crazy" by The Fine Young Cannibals. They were married less than a year later, and subsequently separated in 2001. (Comment on this)

8:52 pm	okay so this is fucked up: i took an astrology quiz today ("What sign are you destined to fall in love with?") and was so freaked out by the results I posted it in my livejournal for future reference but had to make it private. anyways, this weekend was okay. i'm glad i left adrian's before photos were snapped (do people say that?) because I was totally ZOMBIFIED (and not conscious of that fact) and only talked when yelling at him to stop playing oldies. jeez. i then led a poorly executed expedition to the old and passed out. susan and peri: i called you both. but this break is going to be awesome, i'm in a great mood. if i had the type of personality required to plan trips and stuff in advance i'd be going to california (SAN JOSE) but that's okay it's city time.
